Muslims in IT Jobs - 2007/11/17 15:11
I have been in IT business from past 10 years in Hyderabad. For some reason or other I really don't see many Muslims in IT jobs compared to the educted and skilled muslims we have in Hyderabad. I think there were many engineers, MCA quaified candidates and I think lack of proper direction in pursuing IT courses, communication gaps, some kind of stigma of being neglected are responsible factors.
Where as I see most of our people in hardware jobs, networking, server guys. Software development, IT, web development are the fields still our muslims needs to explore and venture into it.
The more H1B visas are issued in software and IT fields compared to hardware.
I will be happy to assist any of our muslim friends in pursuing their right career in IT and software development
