CIA is to blame for lot of ills around the world. They have orchestrated coups in South America and have been ardent supported of middle-east monarchies, but we muslims try to blame everything around us on the CIA. I hear the blame it on CIA a whole lot from my friends. Understandable since CIA has been quite active in Pakistan during the Afghan - Soviet war and later on in the war with Al-Qaeda and Taliban.

There was a joke a friend of mine was telling me the other day that the CIA was to blame when the TSUNAMI occured and the blame was that U.S was conducting underground nuclear tests in South East Asia and sometimes when kettle boils over in someone house the blame is on CIA or jews.

Its about time we muslims looked inward and try to find solutions to some of the problems facing the muslim community, to be honest muslims are still quite disorganised inspite of having the second highest number of follwers in the world after Christanity, if we look around in the world we would see North America has NAFTA (North Atlantic Fair Trader Agreement) and South East Asia has ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) and Eurpoe has EU (European Union).  Muslims have OIC (Organization of Islamic Countries) but this organization is not too effective, they never seem to agree on anything. We need an organization which is disciplined and effective and this organization should not think in terms of Arabs, non-arabs, Hindi, African muslim etc. But as a worldwide  muslim community.

US and the EU will not let the muslims revive the Khilafat but inshallah we will have an effective muslim union in some form or the other form.
