Land Grabbing is an inherrent problem in hyderabad. As everyone knows it is very difficult to own land in Hyderabad. There are major chances that some land grabber will encroach on your land and claim it as his own.
I have seen it happening in lot of cases. My best friends land was encroached by politicians attached to Telugu Desam and have seen his family go through a terrible phase trying to get it back. Our own land was encroached by goons without party affiliation. My brother-in-law had a land near Golconda Tombs and he rarely used to visit the land, but once they visited the land after several years to their surprise they found it already fenced and a small room built on it. The person who encroached his land was little more sympathetic and agreed to pay half the value of the land if he was ready to let it go peacefully.
For the layman if he is not taking intrest in his land and visiting regularly he can as wll say goodbye to it.
I wonder when the land reforms are going to come ?? |
